What it is: Math simulations that are essentially virtual manipulatives for math. The simulations can be sorted by sub topic or grade level. They can be embedded on any other webpage or used directly from the site. Each simulation comes with a place to explore and a game where kids can practice their understanding.

Levels: A, B, C, D, E

How to use it: This is an awesome collection of virtual manipulatives. These are great for number talks and exploration of concepts, as well as for practicing math concepts. The labs can be used directly from this site, they can also be downloaded or embedded on another webpage. These virtual manipulatives are fantastic for remote learning activities!

How to Use it: Students explore images and come up with conjectures and proofs about which one doesn’t belong. Strengthens critical thinking, conjectures, proofs, and the idea that there can be multiple ways to look at something. After kids are familiar with Which One Doesn’t Belong exercises, ask them to come up with their own.
